At Intercare we make use of two software programmes namely Practice Perfect and GoodX.
Practice perfect is the consultation software programme used by the medical healthcare professionals (HCP) during the consultation with the patient. This programme allows the HCP to capture clinical notes, capture a diagnosis, generate prescriptions and sick notes, create referral letters and more.
GoodX is a software programme mostly used by the reception staff and practice managers. This programme allows staff to book an appointment for the patient, arrive a patient for their consultation, process payments and more.
Healthcare professionals use GoodX to bill a patient. After the consultation, the patient needs to be billed. This is an important process as payment can only be made if the patient has been billed. If billing is delayed, it can lead to outstanding amounts and bad debt.
The purpose of this learning program is to introduce these two systems and their basic functionalities as it relates to a consultation.
